So we’re not on horses and this isn’t a western, but the song is perfect since it has the same general idea I’m going for. Island Fever

The Pose Fair is one of my favorite events of the year and I’m glad Hottie Cooterati put it on this year. The most interesting part is discovering new (or at least new to me) pose makers and continuing my love of known ones.  I’ve been gravitating towards the props and group/couple poses. It gives me an excuse to spice up my blog a bit with other faces.  This super cute couples pose came from the Diesel Works booth. The Pose Fair runs until the 14th of April so if you haven’t made it yet, there’s still plenty of time.

Shoe Fetish

I’ve said this before but I am a shoe addict. I know a lot of women in SL are, but I definitely am all about the shoe shopping. Rather ironic though that I barely ever shoe shop in RL – unless you count window shopping. Before I buy anything else in SL – clothes, hair, etc. – I stop at my favorite shoe stores and see what’s new. It’s gotten bad enough that Therathe has restricted me to a L$1750 budget for shoes. So many pretty shoes and so little money! *sniffs*

I only discovered the beauty of [Gos] sometime last year. (Late bloomer I know.) While this is only my 3rd pair I LOVE them. I wasn’t planning on blogging these but in my rounds at the Pose Fair , I found these gorgeous shoe poses from WetCat. They’re sexy and elegant and really beautiful. I only bought one pack but I may have to return for more.

Spring Rains: Exposeur @ Pose Fair

Spring is officially here (at least according to the calendar). And the best, or worst – depending on how you look at it – part of spring is the rain that nourishes the ground making all things green and growing again. With a little help from {Exposeur} and [HANDverk], I’m managing to stay (mostly) dry and still look cute. Spring Fling

Spring is in the air! We’re getting glimpses of the warmer weather here, although there is still a chance for another snow shower. Love the fact that spring seems to invigorate everyone. Fashionista Wannabe

I generally don’t consider myself to be a fashionista in either SL or RL. I tend to think of myself more as a wannabe than an actual fashionista/style maven. Creating outfits or looks is often a challenge for me. I certainly try, but I don’t necessarily have the energy to put into my wardrobe choices, so I just throw on something casual and go (especially in my RL). In SL, dresses, t-shirts and jeans are my go-to items because they’re easy and quick. This particular outfit was based on something I saw on pinterest. As of late, it’s been my go-to place for fashion inspiration. It’s been super helpful for me to look at some of those outfits and put my own twist on them. How would you rate your style?
